Who's setting the table
Wife, mother of five, longtime home educator, and founder of The Mother Study.
I started homeschooling because I wanted something different for my children. But after years of educating them at home, I realized something I didn't expect: I was being educated, too.
Motherhood made me question what I believed about education, family, learning, rhythm, and even my own role as a mother. It made me read more, study more, pay closer attention, change my mind, and keep becoming.
That's where The Mother Study came from.
And here's the part that matters for this community: I'm still in it.
I'm still raising my five children. Still home educating. Still reading and studying. Still testing ideas in my own home. Still figuring out what works, what doesn't, and what I believe about this work we've been called to do.
I'm not building The Mother Study from the other side of motherhood. I'm building it from right here in the middle of it.
What I learn, I'll bring here. What I'm questioning, we can wrestle with together. And as I grow, study, and refine The Mother Method in my own home, you'll get to be part of that process.
Because I believe mothers should never stop being students, too.

What's inside

Study, Reflect, Apply, Return. One idea on Monday, one reflection midweek, and a weekend return to share what you noticed.

A room to gather and ask questions. We might open with a central question and go back and forth, answering, discussing, and studying together.

Meets monthly. Not a training, a conversation. Have you been studying something you can't stop thinking about? Come bring it to the table. Members apply to lead the conversation, and the threshold is intentionally low. Replays are kept for everyone.

The weekly rhythm
Study, Reflect, Apply, Return. There are no worksheets to complete and no hour-long lessons to keep up with. You're thinking alongside other mothers.
Monday
One idea or question for the week. Sometimes a short audio, a paragraph, or a passage. Sometimes simply a really good question.
Midweek
One reflection prompt appears in the Study Room. Mothers discuss.
The weekend
What did you notice this week? Did anything from our study change the way you think about your home, your children, education, or yourself?
Once a month
Our one live gathering. Not a training, a conversation. A member brings what she's been studying, and we think about it together.
What you're paying for
Some months you'll study intensely. Some months you'll barely read, attend a Study Table, and leave with four pages of notes. Some months you'll follow the Study Menu because your brain is fried and you don't want to choose anything. All of those are valid ways to belong.

Why it works
The Mother Study doesn't hand everyone one curriculum to work through. It's a structure for intellectual community among mothers. You bring the curiosity, whether that's a book, a subject, a historical figure, faith, gardening, economics, or literature.
Nobody here is an audience around a teacher. It's a table of mothers thinking together, and everyone has something to bring to it.
A mother who remains curious gives her children permission to remain curious too.
Questions
You don't have to decide alone. Each month the Study Menu offers doors to walk through: three books to choose from, something to explore, and something to practice. Pick one and follow along. Or start with a question: what are you curious about right now?
Then ignore the menu and tell us what you're studying in the Mother Notebook. That's exactly what the room is for.
No. It's a seasonal guided study and community, not a course. You won't be handed lessons to finish. You'll practice becoming a studying mother while you educate your children. Homeschool in Flow is a separate offer that answers a different question: how to build a sustainable homeschool rhythm around your actual capacity.
The weekly rhythm is intentionally light: one idea on Monday, one reflection midweek, and one return on the weekend. Some months you'll study intensely. Other months you might mostly show up to a live conversation. All of those are valid ways to belong.
It's the first season of The Mother Study, running roughly September through December and centered on one question: Who is the mother becoming while she is educating her children? Enrollment closes September 28. The cohort then closes and reopens for winter.
You can cancel anytime. There are no refunds once you join. Founding members pay $9 a month, and that price goes up once this first cohort closes, so if you cancel, you lose the $9 founding price.
